Staining inky black colour with an equally deep dark purple black hue. Powerful aromatics of ripe blackberries, dark plums and liquorice which are overlaid by flakes of dark chocolate and subtle notions of dried clove. Also evident are complexing elements of lightly scorched vanillin oak, earth and spice. Seductively rich and plush on entry the palate then firms up with a robust firmly built tannin structure gripping the back palate.
